Qik Links With Boingo Wireless

Redwood City-based Qik, a Web 2.0-style service which allows mobile phone users to upload and share videos with friends, said Tuesday that it has inked a deal with Boingo Wireless to offer its users access to Boingo's extensive Wi-Fi network. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, Qik said its users will get a 30 day free trial to Boingo, and can pay $7.95 a month after that for access. Qik is angel backed by Marc Beniof, Arjun Gupta, George Garrick, Marc Andreesen, and Ben Horowitz.
