URX Links Into $12M

San Francisco-based URX, which is developing technology to create "smart links" on mobile devices which link users to apps in a mobile environment, has raised $12M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Accel Partners, and also included First Round Capital, Google Ventures and SV Angel. The company's links route users to the web, an app, or elsewhere when using mobile platforms, depending on if they have the right app installed, and depending if they are using a mobile device or computer. The company said the new funds brings its total raised to $15.1M. URX is led by John Milinovich. More information »
