iSkoot Adds Twitter Support

San Francisco-based iSkoot, a developer of mobile applications, said Thursday that the firm has added support for Twitter into its Kalaida mobile services products. According to iSkoot, the new software extends connectivity to Twitter via "almost any handset" sold today. iSkoot is the developer of iSkoot for Skype, a mobile application which connects handsets into the Skype VoIP network. The firm is targeting its new Kalaida software towards mobile carriers who want to add web application connectivity into their low end phones. iSkoot is venture backed by Charles River Ventures, Jesselson Capital, Khosla Ventures, Vision Opportunity Master Fund, and ZG Ventures.
