Livescribe Gets $18.6M In Two Rounds
Oakland-based Livescribe, maker of a digital pen which captures handwriting, said this morning that it has raised $18.6M in two rounds of funding. The firm announced that it closed a $7.5M, Series B funding by Aeris Capital, which followed an $11.1M Series A funding led last month by VantagePoint Venture Partners and Lionhart Investments Ltd. According to Livescribe, its key initiatives this year include launching an online application store, domestic and international expansion, and new products focused on mobile professionals. LiveScribe had announced it had raised $10.175M on February 9th in the round. More information »
