Google Tracks Swine Flu In Mexico

Mountain View-based Google is looking to apply its search footprint to help track the interest in the swine flu outbreak, through an expansion of its Google Flu Trends service. According to Google, it is now breaking out searches for flu-related topics in Mexico to see what parts of Mexico are searching for the most information about the flu, to help potentially identify where outbreaks are occurring.
