Yahoo Improves Mobile Pages, Favorites

Search portal Yahoo reported Tuesday that the firm has upgraded its Yahoo Mobile website, and has begun rolling out new customization options on the service that tie in Yahoo! Mail, Facebook, Twitter, and Yahoo! Messenger accounts to a user's mobile page. In addition to the personalization options, Yahoo also said that it has created a new "My Favorites" area for its Web home page, which will show an application dashboard connecting to popular sites and applications. Separately, Yahoo also announced that it is creating new localized homepages for different countries, and is now testing them for France, India, and the UK.
