Yahoo Rolls Out Note Taking Application
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo announced today that the firm has rolled out a new service, Search Pad, which the firm said can be used by people to capture and share notes on online research. The new service automatically captures information and web sites they use during their research activity, allowing people to take notes and then save or share those with others. The new service recognizes when people are conducting research on a topic, and allows users to save notes and snippets from web sites in a "search pad" for future reference. The new feature is triggered from searches from Yahoo's main search site.
