Eye-fi Ships Apple Product

Mountain View-based Eye-Fi, which develops wireless memory cards for digital cameras, reported yesterday that it has released a product specifically focused on Apple Mac customers. The firm said its new Eye-Fi Geo card, a wireless SD memory card, is exclusively for Apple and will be distributed only at Apple stores and online on Apple's site. The new product will geotag and provide wireless uploading of photos to iPhoto '09 and '08, as well as connections with the iPhone and MobileMe. The Apple exclusive product retails for $59.99.
