TargetCast Networks Gets $6.5M
San Ramon-based TargetCast Networks, an operator of a out-of-home, digital TV advertising network, said today it has raised $6.5M in a Series B funding round. The round came from Claremont Creek Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. According to the firm, John Fisher of DFJ joins its board. TargetCast said it will use the funding to fuel expansion of its network, and for strategic partnerships. The new funding brings the company's total raised to $12.8M. TargetCast recently acquired out-of-home advertising firm Ripple, which was also backed by DFJ. More information »
