TripIt Gets Win With Hotwire

San Francisco-based travel organization site TripIt, is in a partnership with Hotwire, the two firms said Wednesday. According to the two, Hotwire.com users who book trips will be able to add new trips on the TripIt site automatically, which will allow Hotwire users to plan their travel itineraries. Hotwire also will be offering TripIt's Pro premium service, the TripIt's travel notification and frequent flyer tracking service, to frequent travelers. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. TripIt is venture backed with $6.1M from O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures (OATV), European Founders Fund and Sabre Holdings.
