Twitter Series E Worth $100M

A regulatory filing today confirms that Twitter has raised $100,000,006 in its latest funding round, a Series E funding of preferred stock by the firm. According to the filing, filed Thursday, the firm has received $98.2M of that funding so far. Twitter announced its funding on September 25th, but did not confirm earlier reports that the round was worth around $100M. The filing also confirms that the board of directors of the firm remains unchanged, with Benchmark's Peter Fenton, Spark's Bijan Sabet, Fred Wilson, Evan Williams, Dick Costolo, Jack Dorsey, and Jason Goldman all remaining on the board.
