Adobe, Salesforce.com In Alliance On Flash Development

Salesforce.com and Adobe Systems said this morning that the two are linking efforts on cloud-based application development, and will be enabling Flash-based development for Salesforce.com's Force.com platform. According to the two, Adobe Flash Builder for Force.com is a jointly developed, integrated development environment for building cloud-based, rich Internet apps. The firm said the IDE lets developers extend Salesforce CRM implementations and Force.com applications either using the Adobe Flash Playe ror through Adobe AIR. The two said that a developer preview for Adobe Flash Builder for Force.com is now on Salesforce.com's developer web site, with final delivery in the first half of 2010. Pricing on the tool has not been announced.
