FireEye Gets In-Q-Tel Funding
Milpitas-based FireEye, a developer of malware protection tools, said Wednesday that it has received an investment from In-Q-Tel, the venture capital arm of the CIA. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. FireEye said the investment came alongside a strategic partnership with In-Q-Tel. FireEye's technology is used to detect advanced malware using virtual machines. FireEye has previously received funding from DAG Ventures, JAFCO American Ventures, Juniper Networks, Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Silicon Valley Bank. More information »
