Discera Gets $11M

San Jose-based Discera, a developer of MEMS clock and timing circuits, said Friday that it has raised $11M in its Series D financing round. The round came from Scale Venture Partners, Horizon Ventures, Ardesta, and new backer Lurie Investments. As part of the investment, the firm said it has added William White of Lurie Investments to its baord of directors. Discera is developing MEMS oscillator technology used for timing semiconductors. It appars that prior backers 3i Ventures and Partech did not participate in this round. More information »
