Nicira Takes $9.0M In Series B

Palo Alto-based Nicira Networks, a network technology firm headed by Steve Mullaney, has raised $9.0M in a Series B funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm yesterday. The round has a target size of $10.9M. The firm's investors include Andreesen Horowitz Fund, and individuals Diane Greene and Andy Rachleff. Ben Horowitz is listed on the firm's board of directors.
