Elevation Partners Taps Apple's Tevanian For Post

Menlo Park-based private equity firm Elevation Partners reported this morning that it has tapped Avadis "Avie" Tevanian, most recently Chief Software Technology Officer at Apple, as a Managing Director. According to Elevation partners, Tevanian will help the firm in evaluating new investment opportunities, advising those firms, and driving strategy. Tevanian previously worked with Elevation co-founder Fred Anderson at Apple, and was principal designer and engineer of the Mach operating system.
