VirnetX Wins $105.75M From Microsoft In Patent Suit

Scotts Valley-based VirnetX Holdings Corporation, a firm focused real time communications and collaboration software, said late Tuesday that it has been awarded $105.75M by a jury, over infringement of two of the firm's patents. VirnetX said the jury found that Microsoft's patent infringement was willfull, and tha tit will be also requesting injunctive relief at a later date. The two patents covers virtual private network technology.
