Ticketfly Nabs $3M For Ticket Marketing Tools
San Francisco-based Ticketfly announced a few minutes ago that it has closed on $3M of funding for the firm, which helps event promoters to sell their tickets using social marketing. According to the firm, the Series A funding came from High Peaks Venture Partners, Contour Venture Partners, the NYC Seed Fund, and angel investors Howard Lindzon and Roger Ehrenberg. Ticketfly allows event promoters to create and host their own websites, support print-at-home and scannable tickets, and also help market those events on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites.
