GTronix Acquired By National Semiconductor
Fremont-based GTronix, which develops audio user-interface and voice processing semiconductors, has been acquired by Santa Clara-based National Semiconductor. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. GTronix is venture backed by Jafco Ventures and Menlo Ventures, and had raised around $28.8M. National Semiconductor said that GTRonix develops products used for noise cancellation in mobile applications such as wireless handsets and audio accessories.
