Okta Nabs $10M
San Francisco-based Okta, a developer of cloud-based, identity management software, has raised $10M in a Series A financing, the firm said this week. According to the firm, the round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, in addition to Mike Maples, Jr. and Ann Miuru-ko of Floodgate/Maples Investments, and Ron Conway and his SV Angel fund. The firm said the round takes its total raised to $11.0M. Other seed investors in the round include Maynard Webb (CEO, LiveOps), Professor Ed Roberts (MIT), Dharmesh Shah (CTO & Founder, HubSpot), Stephen Marcus (Venture Partner, New Atlantic Ventures), Tom Berson (Anagram Laboratories) and Avid Larizadeh (Co-Founder, Boticca and formerly of Accel Partners). The firm is headed by Todd McKinnon, who previously headed up engineering at Salesforce.com. More information »
