Marlin Equity Raises Offer For Phoenix Technologies To $146M
Private equity firm Marlin Equity Partners has upped its offer for Milpitas-based Phoenix Technologies, the maker of PC BIOS software, to $146M, or $4.05 per share in cash, Phoenix said today. According to Phoenix, the move matches a competing offer price from private equity firm Gores Group. The deal had originally been worth $139M, or $3.85 per share.
