Yahoo Names Ross Levinsohn As Americas Head

Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! said Wednesday afternoon that it has appointed Ross Levinsohn, the former head of Fox Interactive Media, as its Executive Vice President of the Americas region. Levinsohn reports to CEO Carol Bartz. Levinsohn was most recently co-founder and managing director at Fuse Capital, a venture capital firm in Los Angeles. Yahoo said that Levinsohn will be responsible for the company's media group, advertising sales, and partnerships for the Americas region.
