Gigle Networks Acquired By Broadcom

Redwood City-based Gigle Networks, a developer of home powerline networking technology, has been acquired by Broadcom, in a deal worth $75M in cash plus up to $8M in earnout, according to Broadcom this morning. Gigle has raised at least $31M in funding from Accel Partners, Pond Ventures, and Scottish Equity Partners.
