Symphony Technology Group Buys Business Unit From CoreLogic

Palo Alto-based private equity firm Symphony Technology Group said late last week that it has acquired the First Advantage unit of CoreLogic, in a deal worth $265M in cash. First Advantage is a provider of employment background screening, occupational health services, applicant tracking systems, recruiting solutions, skills and behavioral assessments, and business tax consulting services. CoreLogic is headquartered in Santa Ana, California.
