Amalfi Semiconductor Names New CEO
Los Gatos-based Amalfi Semiconductor, a developer of high performance, CMOS radio frequency (RF) and mixed signal semiconductor for the mobile handset market, said today that it has named Mark Foley as its new CEO. Amalfi, which is venture backed by Battery Ventures, DCM, Globespan Capital Partners and Trinity Ventures, said that Foley has over 20 years of experience in the RF industry. Foley was founder and CEO of RF Magic, and also served at NuTune Singapore Pte. Ltd, Entropic, Conexant, ComStream, Adams-Russell Electronics, and Ford Aerospace.
