Amalfi Semicondcutor Finds $20M
Los Gatos-based Amalfi Semiconductor, a developer of power amplifiers for the cellular handset market, said this week that it has raised $20M in a new funding round. The funding came from existing investors Battery Ventures, DCM and Globespan Capital Partners. Amalfi said the funding will go towards business opeartions and accelerating new product development. Amalfi's CEO and President is Mark Foley; the firm provides CMOS-based power amplifiers which provide reduced costs versus GaAs-based power amplifier modules. More information »
