Crowd Factory Gets $6.5M
San Francisco-based Crowd Factory said today that it has raised $6.5M in a new equity funding round. The round was led by Storm Ventures, and also included prior investors Hummer Winblad, Peninsula Ventures, and angel investors. Ryan Floyd of Storm Ventures joins the company's board as part of the funding. Crowd Factory provides social marketing applications used to increase the social aspects of web pages, emails, videos, advertisements, and more.
