Meraki Gets $15M More
San Francisco-based Meraki, a developer of managed wireless access points, routers, and software, said today that it has scored an additional $15M in funding. The funding round was led by Sequoia Capital. The firm said the funding will go towards further development of its products, plus scaling of sales and marketing. The announcement came in conjunction with a claim by the firm that it had record growth in Q4 of 2010. Financial details of that growth were not disclosed, but the firm said it now has over 1,300 customers using its products, and over 17,000 networks deployed worldwide. More information »
