Benvenue Medical Raises $35.5M

Santa Clara-based Benvenue Medical, which is developing minimally invasive products for spine repair, has raised $35.5M in a Series C funding roudn, the firm said today. The funding was co-led by Domain Associates and Technology Partners, and also included prior investors Versant Ventures and DeNovo Ventures. Nimesh Shah of Domain and Roger Quy of Technology Partners join the firm's board as part of the funding. The company said the funding will go to complete development of its products and for commercialization. More information »
