99designs Gets $35M
Melbourne, Australia-based 99designs, an online marketplace for crowdsourced graphic designs, has raised $35M, the firm said Thursday. The round was led by San Francisco-based Accel Partners, and also included Silicon Valley angels Michael Dearing (eBay, Harrison Metal), Dave Goldberg (Survey Monkey), Stewart Butterfield (Flickr, Tiny Speck), and Anthony Casalena (Squarespace). Accel's Andrew Braccia and Ryan Sweeney join the company's board. 99designs allows users to request designs for logos, web sites, business cards, Wordpress themes, and more. More information »
