Aeroprise Acquired By BMC Software

Mountain View-based Aeroprise, a developer of IT management software, has been acquired by BMC Software, BMC said Thursday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Aeroprise develops software which allows mobile users--inlcuding iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Android, and Windows Mobile users--to access BMC's Remedy IT Service Management Suite. BMC said it has renamed the Aeroprise product as BMC Mobility for IT Service Management. Aeroprise had been backed by vSpring Capital and Horsley Bridge Partners.
