Mobotap Finds $10M For Android Browsing
San Francisco-based MoboTap, the developer of a web browser app for the Android smartphone market, announced today that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Sequoia Capital and also included Matrix Partners. The firm said the funding will go towards product development and expansion into new markets. Mobotap's browser is Dolphin, which the company said is used by more than 8 million users. The browser includes gesture-sensitive controls, add-ons, and webzine features. More information »
