Kixeye Nabs $18M

San Francisco-based Kixeye--the social gaming developer formerly known as Casual Collective--said today that it has raised $18M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Jafco Ventures, and also included prior investors Trinity VEntures and Lightspeed VEnture Partners. Joe Horowitz of Jafco joins the company's board as part of the funding, as does Andrew Trader, a member of Zynga's founding team. Kixeye is the developer of Desktop Tower Defense and other social games. More information »
