Google Backs Nettle

Google Ventures is the lead investor in a stealth-mode firm, Nettle, which says it is creating next generation social, local, mobile applications and websites aimed at the entertainment market. Nettle said that Google led its $500,000 seed round last week. Other investors include Capital, 500 Startups, and angel investors from eBay and Qualcomm. Nettle is based in La Jolla, California.
