Virsto Adds $5M

Sunnyvale-based Virsto Software, a developer of software for the storage virtualization market, announced today that it has added $5M to the firm's Series B funding round. The new investment came from Southern Cross Venture Partners and Correlation Ventures. Virsto had earlier announced a series B in June worth $12M from InterWest Partners, August Capital, and Canaan Partners. According to Virtso, the funding will go towards growth, partnerships, and hiring. The new funding brings the total Series B funding to $17M. More information »
