YouTube Announces Big Content Plans

YouTube, the online video sharing site owned by Google, said Friday that it has launched a major effort to add more original content to the site. YouTube said it plans to launch more than 100 original content channels on the site, including channels created by well-known personalities and content producers from the TV, film, music, news, and sports fields, as well as a large list of content producers. YouTube said the new original channels will appear on the site next month.
