Pinger Calls Up $7.5M
San Jose-based Pinger, which develops iOS and Android texting and voice chat applications, has raised $7.5M in a strategic investment, the company said this week. The round came from T-Venture, the venture arm of Deutsche Telekom. Pinger said the funding will go towards international growth. Bernhard Gold of T-Venture has joined the company's board as part of the funding. Pinger previously has raised capital from Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers and DAG Ventures. More information »
