MiaSole Gets $55M

Santa Clara-based MiaSole, which manufactures copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin-film photovoltaic solar panels, said today that it has raised $55M. MiaSole did not name the investors in the new round. The manufacturer of PV panels said it will use the new funding to build out the commercial side of its business. MiaSole said it has so far installed over 55MW of its solar modules. More information »
