BrightSource Energy Sets IPO Pricing Range

Oakland-based solar thermal power developer BrightSource Energy set an estimated IPO pricing range Wednesday evening, saying that it estimates that its IPO price will be between $21.00 and $23.00 per share. The firm, which has applied to list as BRSE, also said it has selected the Nasdaq Global Select Market for the offering. BrightSource, which first filed for it IPO in April of last year, is venture backed by VantagePoint Capital Partners, ALSTOM Power, Morgan Stanley, and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
