Flingo Gets More Funding From Mark Cuban
San Francisco-based Flingo, which makes smart television applications, said Wednesday that it has raised another $1M in funding from entrepreneur Mark Cuban. The funding brings the company's first round to a total of $8M. Flingo is led by Ashwin Navin, and also is backed by August Capital and Lauder Partners. Flingo announced the first $7M in its first round in February. Flingo's software provides "second screen" data on tablets, laptops, and smartphones, integrated with broadcast content. Flingo said it will use the funding to expand its presence with smart TV and device manufacturers. More information »
