Summit Microelectronics Acquired By Qualcomm
Sunnyvale-based power semiconductor maker Summit Microelectronics has been acquired by Qualcomm, Qualcomm said this morning. Financial details of the deal were not announced by the companies. Qualcomm said that all employees of Summit Microelectronics have joined its CDMA Technologies division. Summit's technology will be applied to Qualcomm's chipsets. Summit's products are used for power management and charging.
