Snappli Snags Funding To Shrink Data Bills
Snappli, a developer of application software for the iPhone which shrinks mobile data transmission to reduce data bills, has raised a first round of funding, the firm said today. The round came from Greylock Partners and Index Ventures, along with Alex Zubillaga, Simon Murdoch, and Klaus Hommels. Size of the funding round was not disclosed. Snappli has offices in both San Francisco and London. Snappli's mobile app reduces web, apps and video data usage on the iPhone. A recent regulatory filing from Snappli indicates it raised $1M in a round in July. More information »
