Duck Duck Moose's Educational Apps Find $7M
Duck Duck Moose, the educational apps developer for iOS and Android, has just gotten a chunk of funding for its efforts. The firm said it has just raised $7M in a Series A funding round, from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital and Stanford University. The company--founded by Caroline Hu Flexer, Nicci Gabriel and Michael Flexer--said it will use the new funding to grow its family of apps, expand it executive team, and hire more illustrators, animators and engineers to the company.
