Endace Acquired By Emulex

Sunnyvale-based Endace, which develops network monitoring and performance management appliances, has been acquired by networking equipment firm Emulex. The deal was worth approximately $130M. Endace develosp equipment which allows customers to record and monitor network traffic at 10Gb speeds and beyond. Endace's marketing headquarters are in Sunnyvale, with R&D in New Zealand.
