Evernote Sets COO

Redwood City-based Evernote, the developer of software to help users capture notes and information on computers, the web, mobile, and tablets, said Thursday that it has named Ken Gullicksen as its Chief Operating OFficer. Gullicksen was previously VP of Corporate Development for Evernote, and was a Genral Partner at Morgenthaler Ventures. He also served at Sun Microsystems, Nortel Networks,and Hitachi-Raychem Display Systems. Evernote is backed by AGC Equity Partners/m8 Capital, Valiant Capital Partners and T.Rowe Price Associates, which injected $85M in funding into Evernote in November to cash out the firm's earlier investors.
