Quorum Gets $11M For Backup Appliances
San Jose-based Quorum, which develops backup, recovery, and business contunity appliances aimed at the small and mid-sized business market, has raised $11M in a Series B funding, the firm announced this morning. Quorum said the new funding was led by Toba Capital, the new investment firm of former Quest CEO Vinny Smith. Airtek Capital Group also participated. Quorum is led by Larry Lang, and develops a hybrid cloud and appliance product to provide high availability and disaster recovery for SMBs. The firm said the new funding will go towards sales, marketing, and support for its products. More information »
