Kilopass Finds $8M

Santa Clara-based Kilopass, a developer and licensor of intellectual property for the non-volatile memory semiconductor market, said it has raised $8M in a funding round. The firm said it came from a major, consumer electronics licensee of the company. Name of that investor was not disclosed. Kilopass develops non-volatile, one-time programmable semiconductor IP, which it licenses to other companies. The company said the new funds will go to expand its technology roadmap.
