Expect Labs Snags Strategic Investment From Intel, Samsung, and Telefonica

San Francisco-based Expect Labs, which is developing intelligent "digital assistants" which predict what a user wants to do and helps them accomplish tasks, has scored a strategic investment from a trio of companies. Expect Labs said that Intel Capital, Samsung Venture Investment Corporation, and Telefonica have all invested in the firm as part of the strategic investment. Size of the new funding was not disclosed. Expect Labs said it will use the funding to extend its technology platform across different industry verticals and geographic markets. More information »
