Quantenna Lands Strategic Investment From Telefonica

Fremont-based Quantenna, the developer of Wi-Fi networking chips for the home entertainment market, reported today that it has scored a strategic investment from Telefonica. Size of that investment round was not disclosed. The funding came as part of a strategic partnership betweenthe firms, giving Telefonica access to Quantenna's technology. Quantenna's other backers include Sequoia Capital, Venrock, Sigma Partners, Southern Cross Venture Partners, DAG Ventures, Swisscom Ventures, and Grazia Equity. More information »
