CoTap Gets $5.5M For Mobile Messaging
San Francisco-based CoTap, a startup founded by former Yammer executive Jim Patterson and Zack Parker, said today that it has raised $5.5M in a Series A funding. CoTap said the funding was led by Charles River Ventures, and also included Emergence Capital Partners. George Zachary of CRV and Jason Green of Emergence join the company's board with the funding. The startup is working on mobile messaging products aimed at the workdplace. Patterson was Chief Product Officer and Parker was Senior Director of Engienering at Yammer, the micro-messaging startup which was acquried by Microsoft. More information »
